Jack Frost visits Dartmoor

Today is a perfect winter day on Dartmoor – clear blue sky and a sharp frost on the ground. Where the sun has reached the ground the moor is back to it’s winter palette of bronze, green and quite a lot of shades of grey, but nowhere near fifty! In the shade the frost is still touching everything with magic.

Rocky and I had the path to Deadman’s Corner to ourselves this morning. The pictures below were a bit point and shoot as I can’t operate the camera with gloves on and rapidly couldn’t feel my fingers with gloves off. It was just gorgeous!
